Excellent site, informative to both the new as well as the "aged" Brother.
My particular thanks to Hanc, contacted through this site, the ONLY brother
not only to help but to answer at all, since in the particular case I have
contacted about a dozen Masonic sites but in vain. Happy New Year to all.

Victoria. Well done.

Very nice web page. I was not a Mason when I lived in Adelaide, 1966-1968,
but I am glad to see Masonry is going strong. I petitioned after I returned
and am Past Master of Solar Lodge #914, Huntsville, Alabama, USA. I downloaded
a copy of "Back to the Fu ure", by Brother Kent Henderson several months
ago and was telling our AOL Masonic Forum chat room attendees about it last
Sunday. Is it still available? Our forum meets twice a month and discussions
on the plight of Masonry in the USA is a recurring subj ct. Brother Henderson's
article aptly sets forth many of my feelings on what we should be doing to
strengthen our fraternity. I would like to put it on our web site, which
you are invited to visit at: http://members.aol.com/ForumLead/index.html.
I was there for the SPARTA trials at Woomera and I shall always remember
the surprise turkey dinner the Eldo Mess prepared for the Americans on
Thanksgiving Day. It was a true example of the wonderful comradery that existed
between the members of the Amer can and Australian teams. The memory returns
every Thanksgiving-which is this Thursday. I can therefore wish you a Happy
Thanksgiving. Fraternally, Ted |

Greetings from the Holy City! (At least Charlestonians think it is...) Found
your address in the Hiram Newsletter guestbook. Fascinating site! Magnolia
Lodge is also an "identity" lodge bringing together Freemasons with a prior
shared interest. In our case, our founders were all members of Kappa Alpha
Order, an American Greek-letter college fraternity best known for its
identification with Robe t E. Lee and the "Old South." As KA was founded
by Freemasons, Magnolia seeks to celebrate both traditions through quarterly
festive boards in Washington, DC. We believe our unique identity serves to
both attract good men to the Craft and inspire inacti e KA Freemasons to
return to the Lodge. Best of luck in your efforts. Diversity of interests
and experience can only enhance Freemasonry's rich world-wide legacy.

South Carolina
